Linh Son Pagoda, Buddhist temple in Da Lat, Vietnam.
Linh Son Pagoda stands on a hill at 120 Nguyen Van Troi Street, surrounded by rows of pine trees and featuring an octagonal three-story stupa.
The temple construction began in 1938 with donations from the public and two main contributors, Vo Dinh Dung and Nguyen Van Tien, completing in 1940.
The temple contains a 1250-kilogram bronze Buddha statue in its main ceremonial hall, inaugurated in 1952 by Vietnamese Buddhist Patriarch Thich Tinh Khiet.
Twenty monks and six novices maintain the temple grounds, cultivating tea and coffee plants while conducting regular meditation and chanting sessions.
The temple bell, crafted from a bronze and gold alloy, maintains its position due to its substantial weight, deterring potential theft attempts.
