Vũ Thư, Rural district in Thai Binh Province, Vietnam.
Vũ Thư is a rural district in Thái Bình Province, bordered by the Red River and Tra Ly River. The landscape consists of flat, fertile terrain shaped by agricultural activity and dotted with small settlements.
The district was formed by merging two former administrative areas, Vu Tien and Thu Tri, into one unified region. This consolidation created the modern administrative structure that exists in Thái Bình Province today.
The district maintains traditional Vietnamese agricultural practices with rice cultivation methods passed down through generations of local farming communities.
The area is connected by National Highway 10, which crosses the district and provides access to neighboring provinces via Tan De Bridge. Visitors should use local transport or motorcycles to move around the flat terrain.
The district sits at the junction of two major waterways, the Red River and Tra Ly River, at an elevation of just 3 meters above sea level.
