Pho Minh Temple

Pho Minh Temple is a Buddhist shrine located in Tuc Mac village, north of Nam Dinh. The structure displays traditional Vietnamese architecture with layered roofs and detailed carved decorations on its walls.

The temple was founded in 1262 during the Tran dynasty and received major renovations in 1305. Despite these changes, it kept the essential features of its original structure.

Local people visit regularly to perform rituals and make offerings at the temple. You can see visitors meditating and praying throughout the day, which shows how much this place means to the community.

The grounds are accessible daily from sunrise to sunset, allowing visitors to walk around at their own pace. The site is easy to navigate and gives you time to examine the architectural details.

Inside the temple sits a bell from the Ly dynasty, which is older than the temple building itself. This shows the site held spiritual importance long before its official construction.
