Mubarak Goth, Fishing village on the Arabian Sea coast in Karachi, Pakistan.

Mubarak Goth is a fishing village situated along the Arabian Sea coast south of Karachi, spread across a sheltered bay. The settlement features narrow pathways between homes, anchored fishing boats filling the water, and equipment scattered throughout as part of the working landscape.

The village was established roughly 200 years ago and has maintained traditional fishing practices since its founding. Despite minimal infrastructure development in the surrounding region, maritime work has remained the foundation of the community's survival.

Fishing forms the backbone of daily life here, with families passing down their knowledge and skills across generations. You see nets drying, boats being repaired, and people gathering to prepare for or return from their work on the water.

The village can be reached from Karachi via Mauripur Road; it helps to travel early in the morning to avoid heavy traffic later in the day. The best time to visit is during calm weather and when fishermen are leaving for or returning from their boats.

The settlement lies relatively close to Churna Island, which can be reached by boat from here and offers snorkeling and diving opportunities. This nearby island makes it possible to explore both the fishing village and marine life in one trip.
