Atatürk Museum, Mersin

The Atatürk Museum in Mersin is a two-story residence with exhibition rooms on both floors and furnishings from different periods. The spaces display personal objects and documents that offer insight into daily life during the founding phase of modern Turkey.

The building was constructed in 1897 as a residence for a German consul and gained national significance when it served as a lodging for an important historical figure in 1925. This brief but meaningful episode transformed it into a memorial for a turning point in Turkish history.
