Founded in 2017 to replace the former museum in Mersin Halkevi Building, this institution preserves archaeological findings from sites like Yumuktepe and Soli.
The museum exhibits 1,435 artifacts, including Neolithic dwelling replicas, ancient olive presses, Hellenistic inscriptions, statues, and ethnographic objects from Yörük culture.
Located at Adnan Menderes Boulevard, the 7,470-square-meter facility contains a library, conference room, children's playroom, and market for visitors.
The museum displays a collection of amphoras in a pool setting, alongside archaeological discoveries from Elaiussa Sebaste and other regional excavation sites.
