Mersin Naval Museum

The museum exhibits naval artifacts across 1,850 square meters of indoor space, featuring displays of uniforms, weapons, and model ships from different periods.

Established in 2011, this naval institution became the fourth maritime museum in Turkey, following similar establishments in Istanbul, Çanakkale, and İskenderun.

The museum presents paintings of notable naval commanders like Piri Reis and Cezayirli Gazi Hasan Pasha, alongside exhibits depicting significant maritime battles.

Located 100 meters from the Mediterranean Sea on Adnan Menderes Boulevard, the museum provides guided tours and educational programs about marine sciences.

The outdoor exhibition area displays full-size military equipment including radar systems and torpedoes, complementing the indoor historical collections.
