Dnipro Raion

Dnipro Raion is an administrative district in southeastern Ukraine centered on the city of Dnipro and surrounding communities. The area includes both urban neighborhoods and rural settlements connected by regional roads and local transportation networks.

Dnipro Raion was created in 2020 through the merger of several former administrative districts centered on the city of Dnipro. This administrative reorganization was part of broader regional structural reforms in Ukraine.

The region manages multiple local communities through a system of hromadas, representing both rural and urban populations across the southeastern Ukrainian territory.

The district is best explored by car or local buses, with regional roads forming the main connections between settlements. The warmer months offer the most favorable visiting conditions with easier travel and access to outdoor areas.

The district serves a population of 1,179,300 residents while functioning as an administrative center within the industrial core of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
