Arona, Coastal municipality in southern Tenerife, Spain
Arona spans across 81 square kilometers of southern Tenerife, featuring fifteen kilometers of volcanic beaches and mountain landscapes against the Atlantic Ocean.
The construction of San Antonio Abad hermitage in the 17th century marked the independence of Arona from the neighboring municipality of Vilaflor.
