Playa de Poo

Playa de Poo is a sandy beach in Llanes with white sand stretching along a narrow cove shaped by the Vallina river. The river runs along the right side of the beach before reaching the Cantabrian Sea.

The coast around this beach has been shaped by tidal patterns over centuries, constantly changing the landscape. Small fishing communities grew in this area because of the sea's rich resources.
