PSG College of Technology is an engineering school in Coimbatore that houses several departments offering courses across mechanical, civil, electrical and computer science disciplines through teaching labs and project halls. The institution began as PSG Industrial Institute in 1826 and became an engineering college in 1951 when principal G. R. Damodaran led its transformation. It expanded its range of specializations over the following decades and grew into one of the leading technical education centers in the region.
