Tithal Beach

Tithal Beach is a black sand beach along the Arabian Sea coast in Valsad, with coconut palms lining its edges. The shoreline spans a wide area and offers visitors a broad, sandy space for relaxation and exploration.

When Bombay State was divided between Maharashtra and Gujarat, this beach became part of Gujarat. Since then it has grown into a major regional destination attracting visitors from across the area.

Three temples stand near the shore—the BAPS Swaminarayan Temple, the Saibaba Temple, and the Vishnu Temple—attracting pilgrims and visitors throughout the year. These sites shape the spiritual character of the place and matter deeply to the local community.

The beach offers water sports like jet skiing, speedboats, and banana boat rides, while children can play balloon games and arcade games. Visitors should know the beach is well-equipped with facilities and relatively easy to reach, especially for those with mobility needs.

This beach was among India's first to be specifically designed with comprehensive facilities for people with disabilities. It makes the place feel welcoming and accessible to truly everyone.
