Lam Tin Park extends along Black Hill, featuring outdoor sports areas, children's playgrounds, fitness trails, and multiple picnic spots throughout its grounds.
The park opened in 1991 as part of the urban development initiative to provide recreational spaces for the growing population of Lam Tin district.
The name change from Ham Tin Shan to Lam Tin reflects the transformation from a salt production area to a modern recreational space in Hong Kong.
Visitors can reach the park via MTR to Lam Tin Station Exit B, followed by bus routes 215X or 216M to Pik Wan Road.
From the hilltop lookout point, visitors observe eastern Victoria Harbour and Kowloon East while surrounded by granite formations from the Cretaceous period.
