Chui Ling Lane

Chui Ling Lane forms a central part of ARTLANE in Sai Kung, where building walls are covered with murals and artistic installations by local and international artists. The works range from large-scale paintings to smaller pieces and use the full width of the lane as an exhibition space.

The lane was transformed from an ordinary residential street into an artistic corridor through the ARTLANE project, which revitalized the neighborhood. This change brought together local and international artists and turned the previously overlooked area into a recognized destination.

The art displayed here reflects how Hong Kong expresses itself today, mixing traditional craftsmanship with contemporary painting on building surfaces. Walking through, you notice how old and new artistic approaches exist side by side and shape the look of the street together.

The lane is easy to reach on foot and located near several public transportation stops for convenient arrival. The best way to see all the artwork is to walk slowly through it in both directions with time to stop and look.

The artworks change regularly through community projects, so even frequent visitors discover new pieces each time they return. This constant evolution makes the street a living artwork that develops over time.
