Tomb of Feng Yuxiang

The tomb of General Feng Yuxiang is a memorial site featuring a bronze bust of the military leader situated at the western base of Mount Tai in a pine-forested setting. The structure includes a stone mausoleum with inscriptions and a stairway that connects the entrance to the burial chamber above.

The memorial was established in 1953 following the general's death in 1948 and his significant role in Chinese military reforms during the 20th century. He was known for resisting Japanese invasion and his involvement in major political transitions of his era.

The inscription at the entrance features seven golden characters written by the renowned author Guo Moruo. The 66 steps leading to the burial site represent different chapters in the general's life story.

Access is gained through Dazhong Bridge located in the eastern section of the Mount Tai scenic area within Tai'an City in Shandong Province. The site is reached on foot via well-maintained pathways that wind through the forested surroundings.

The memorial preserves a poem written by the general himself and engraved in stone, reflecting his personal philosophy and beliefs. His wife Liu Dezhen is also buried within the same structure.
