Run Run Shaw's Former Residence, Historical residence in Ningbo, China

Run Run Shaw's former residence is at No. 3 Lao Shaojia, Qinyong Village, Zhuangshi Street, Zhenhai District, Ningbo, Zhejiang. The two-storey brick-and-wood house covers about 200 square metres and mixes Chinese and Western building styles. It was the ancestral home of the Shaw family in Zhenhai and the boyhood home of Run Run Shaw.

The residence was first built in the late Qing Dynasty. Run Run Shaw's father, Shaw Yuxuan, was born and raised here, and his eldest brother, Shaw Zuoweng, was also born in the house. In April 1987 Run Run Shaw returned to his hometown to pay respects to his ancestors and visited the residence. It was listed as a Ningbo municipal cultural relic protection unit on 1 September 2023.

The house is the ancestral home of the Shaw family in Zhenhai, where Run Run Shaw's father, Shaw Yuxuan, and elder brother, Shaw Zuoweng, were born. After Run Run Shaw died in Hong Kong on 7 January 2014 at age 107, a memorial hall was set up here and residents of Ningbo came on their own to pay respects. It is now managed by his grandnephew Shao Caiyuan.

The residence stands at No. 3, Lao Shaojia, Qinyong Village, Zhuangshi Street, Zhenhai District, Ningbo, and is managed by Shao Caiyuan, Run Run Shaw's grandnephew. Bao Yugang's former residence is nearby, so the two can be seen on one outing. The house was repaired in July 2024; check locally before travelling, as opening arrangements are not fixed.

The house is managed by Shao Caiyuan, a grandnephew of Run Run Shaw, and after Shaw's death in 2014 a memorial hall was set up here alongside the one at the Hong Kong Funeral Home. In April 1987 Shaw returned to the village to pay respects to his ancestors and visited the house.
