Changzhi Yuhuang Temple is a Taoist shrine in Shangdang featuring red walls and green roof tiles combined with classical Chinese building forms. The complex spreads across a large area and contains religious statues and wall inscriptions that represent Taoist practices.

The Five Phoenix building serves as the main gate and displays architectural details from the late Yuan and early Ming periods. Its deep-hanging eaves and classical proportions make it a striking visual feature when entering the grounds.
