KV37, Ancient tomb in Valley of the Kings, Egypt.

KV37 is an underground tomb in the Valley of the Kings with a descending corridor that leads to a single burial chamber. The chamber sits well below the current ground level.

The tomb was discovered by Victor Loret in 1899 and contained objects connected to pharaohs Thutmose IV and Seti I. These finds date to Egypt's New Kingdom period.

The red painter's marks on the entrance walls show how ancient Egyptian tomb builders worked and organized their labor. These marks reveal the methods used during the construction process.

An iron door at the base of the stairs prevents debris from entering and protects the interior. This allows visitors to see the underground structure in good condition.

The tomb contained twenty-nine whitewashed storage jars that suggest it was used over a longer period. Bone fragments found inside also indicate the site was occupied during the 18th Dynasty.
