KV36, Ancient tomb in Valley of the Kings, Egypt.

The 6-meter deep KV36 tomb features a single rectangular chamber carved into limestone rock within the Valley of the Kings necropolis.

Egyptian archaeologists discovered KV36 in 1903, revealing artifacts and burial materials from the New Kingdom period between 1539 and 1075 BCE.

The tomb demonstrates ancient Egyptian burial practices with its construction method and placement among other royal and noble burial chambers.

Visitors need a Valley of the Kings entrance ticket to access the archaeological site, with guided tours available throughout the excavation area.

Located at an elevation of 179 meters, KV36 represents one of the smaller tombs in the valley, containing original architectural elements from its construction.
