Aswan Nile Museum, Documentation centre and museum near the Old Dam in Aswan, Egypt.

The three-story museum building occupies 146,000 square meters and contains a collection of artifacts illustrating the history of the Nile River.

The museum originated from Sir William Willcocks' villa built in 1898, which transformed into a museum in 1912 before its official opening in 2016.

The museum displays weapons, pottery, utensils, statues, encased mummies, and sarcophagi from predynastic times through the late Roman period.

The facility includes a conference hall, research library, and bilingual exhibits in English and Arabic, with descriptions detailing life along the Nile.

Sections within the museum represent eleven Nile Basin countries, featuring historical artifacts and documenting irrigation techniques since Ottoman rule.
