Fujimi Kōgen Snow Resort, Ski resort in Fujimi, Japan.
Fujimi Kōgen Snow Resort is a ski area on Mount Amigasa in Nagano Prefecture with slopes running across different elevations. The facility operates four ski lifts that serve skiers on various sections of the mountainside.
The resort was established to bring winter sports to the Chūbu region and developed into a stable winter destination. Its position on Mount Amigasa allowed it to take advantage of natural snow conditions and local resources for operations.
The resort features a traditional Japanese onsen bath called Happoen Shikanoyu, where visitors can experience the centuries-old practice of soaking in thermal waters. These warm springs hold deep meaning in local culture and offer relaxation after a day on the slopes.
Operations run from December through March with daily hours from 9:00 AM to 4:50 PM. Access via public transportation and proximity to other regional attractions make it a convenient destination for winter visits.
The resort maintains a separate sledding area completely divided from the main slopes, offering safe entertainment for families. This separation allows different winter activities to happen on the same grounds.
