Mount Hachibuse

Mount Hachibuse is a mountain peak in Nagano Prefecture that rises to about 1,900 meters and transitions from green meadows to rocky upper slopes. The route passes through changing landscapes, with mountain huts along the ascent offering rest spots and lodging.

The region holds old pilgrimage traditions, with walkers following historical routes to the nearby Gobuku Temple before exploring the mountain. The grasslands have been part of the local landscape for generations, displaying seasonal flower patterns.
