Enoshima Bridge

The 600-meter Enoshima Bridge connects mainland Fujisawa to Enoshima Island, providing access across Sagami Bay for vehicles and pedestrians.

The bridge played a role in the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, serving as part of the infrastructure for yachting competitions at Enoshima Yacht Harbor.

The bridge forms part of the Shonan coastal region, where local residents practice marine activities including surfing and traditional fishing methods.

Crossing remains free of charge throughout the year, with the structure accommodating both motorized vehicles and foot traffic from 24 hours daily.

During low tide, the seabed beneath the bridge becomes exposed, creating a natural sandbar path connecting Enoshima Island to the mainland.
