Untamed, Hybrid roller coaster in Biddinghuizen, Netherlands
Untamed is a hybrid roller coaster with steel track and wooden support structures located where Robin Hood once stood in Dronten. The ride reaches speeds of 92 kilometers per hour and includes five inversions, with a 270-degree double inversion turn among its most intense sections.
This ride opened in July 2019, replacing Robin Hood which operated for 18 years at the park. The new installation represents an evolution in design technology at this location.
The trains are designed to look like wild insects, blending nature themes into the ride experience.
This attraction moves around 900 riders per hour using two trains with 24 seats each. A height requirement of 120 centimeters applies to ensure safety during the intense sections.
With five inversions including the 270-degree double inversion corner, this coaster holds the record for the most inversions on any hybrid roller coaster worldwide.
