Clementi Stadium

Clementi Stadium is a sports facility with a full-size grass football pitch and an eight-lane running track at its center. The venue provides seating for around 4,000 spectators and serves as a training and competition venue for multiple sports.

The facility opened under Sport Singapore's management in 1983 and was made accessible to the public shortly after. Since then it has grown to become an important training and competition venue for multiple sports in the city.

The stadium serves as a training venue for Singapore's national fencing team and hosts basketball championships for the Ministry of Education. You can often observe training groups and athletes of different disciplines using the facilities.

The running track opens early in the morning and stays accessible until early evening, with the side gate available earlier than the main entrance. Visitors should be aware that the football pitch may be closed on certain days for maintenance work.

The facility operates on a weekly maintenance schedule that closes the football pitch on a set day while keeping the running track largely accessible for joggers. This makes it a reliable spot for runners even when other areas are temporarily unavailable.
