Şamil Ekinci Museum, Sports museum in Trabzon, Turkey
The Şamil Ekinci Museum displays over 1000 trophies, shields, and plaques earned by Trabzonspor teams throughout their history.
Opened on September 23, 1996, the museum preserves memorabilia from the presidency of Şamil Ekinci, who led Trabzonspor to four league championships between 1975 and 1980.
The museum exhibits seven Super League trophies, nine Turkey Cups, ten Super Cups, and five Prime Ministry Cups, representing Trabzonspor's sporting achievements.
Located on the second floor of the Sadri Şener Social Facilities, the museum welcomes visitors from Monday to Friday between 09:00-17:30 and Saturday from 11:00-17:00.
The Half Cup, displayed in the museum, commemorates the 1957-58 Amateur Football Championship when two teams were declared joint champions after finishing with equal points.
