Sinsing District

Sinsing District in Kaohsiung comprises 32 villages scattered across an urban area at a low elevation. The district office handles administrative services and coordinates municipal functions across all these communities.

During Japanese rule, the area transformed from wilderness into farmland as residents constructed irrigation systems for rice and sugarcane. This agricultural foundation shaped how the district grew and developed over time.
