Bafenliao Fude Temple, Earth God temple in Shulin District, Taiwan.
Bafenliao Fude Temple features traditional Taiwanese architectural elements with detailed craftsmanship visible in its ornate roof structures and decorative stone carvings.
Originally called Three Rock Earth God, the temple expanded through the efforts of Yang Tian-tsai from Shulin, who renamed it Fude Temple.
The temple serves as a center for Earth God worship, where local residents regularly offer prayers and participate in traditional ceremonies throughout the year.
The temple welcomes visitors daily from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with convenient access through nearby public transportation routes and parking facilities.
Following guidance attributed to the Earth God, locals discovered a cold spring in the Nanliao area, transforming the region into a recreational destination.
