Miranova Place, Modern skyscraper complex in Columbus, US
Miranova Place is a mixed-use complex in downtown Columbus, Ohio, made up of two towers of different heights along the Scioto River. One tower holds apartments while the other contains offices, and the base of the complex includes shops and galleries.
The complex was completed in 2001, designed by the architecture firm Arquitectonica as part of a broader effort to revitalize downtown Columbus. It was one of the first large mixed-use projects to bring residents back to the riverfront area.
The location serves people who want to live and work near the riverfront while having shops and galleries nearby. The site brings together daily routines and leisure in a mixed-use setting where office workers and residents naturally intersect.
The complex sits right on the Scioto River and is easy to reach on foot from the rest of downtown Columbus. Separate parking garages serve office users and residents, and shoppers or gallery visitors can use them without needing to navigate the residential or office sections.
The residential tower at Miranova Place rises 26 stories, making it the tallest apartment building in Ohio. On a clear day, residents on the upper floors can see well beyond downtown, far across the city and over the river.
