The Hangzhou Museum occupies a modern building at Liangdao Mountain, displaying artifacts and exhibits that tell the story of Hangzhou's development through time.
Established in 2001 and reopened in 2012 after reconstruction, the museum achieved national first-grade status in 2019 for its exceptional collection of historical items.
The museum maintains permanent exhibitions featuring traditional calligraphy, paintings, and stamp collections that reflect the artistic heritage of Hangzhou.
Located 400 meters from Hu Qing Yu Tang Chinese Medicine Museum, the facility welcomes visitors from Tuesday to Sunday between 9:30 AM and 5:00 PM.
The museum exhibits food models representing Song dynasty pastries from 800 years ago, along with ancient teeth from Jiande people and Jingdezhen porcelain pieces.
