Zeiger, Mountain peak in Oberallgäu, Germany.
The Zeiger summit rises to 1995 meters in elevation, offering views across the Allgäuer Alps and the surrounding peaks of Bavaria.
The mountain trails were established during the early development of Alpine tourism in the region, connecting traditional mountain settlements through marked paths.
Local wooden sculptures along the hiking paths demonstrate the regional commitment to environmental education by showcasing native wildlife and plant species.
Hikers can access the mountain from the Oybele-Halle parking area in Oberstdorf, following a 14-kilometer circular route with an elevation gain of 930 meters.
The Zeigersattel section of the trail provides observation points where visitors can watch paragliders launch from nearby platforms throughout summer months.
