PortAventura Caribe Aquatic Park

PortAventura Caribe Aquatic Park is a water facility in Salou with 16 attractions, multiple pools, and slides surrounded by palm trees and tropical plants. The site covers 50,000 square meters with slides of different difficulty levels and calm bathing areas for all ages.

The park opened on June 1, 2002, as an addition to the PortAventura resort to offer extra entertainment during summer months. This expansion allowed the larger complex to handle more visitors and provide activities for extended stays.

Each section features Caribbean design choices in the pools, buildings, and plant arrangements that create a tropical setting throughout. Visitors notice these design touches as they move around and can experience the island-inspired atmosphere in all areas.

The park offers adapted facilities, lockers for rent, pet care services, and multiple dining options in different areas. Visitors should know that the best time for swimming is usually in the morning when it is less crowded.

King Khajuna stands as one of Europe's tallest free-fall water slides and offers an intense experience for the brave. El Río Loco, on the other hand, lets visitors ride a river without height limits and works for people of any age.
