Liberty Sculpture Park spans 36 acres in the Mojave Desert, featuring large-scale outdoor installations that address political and social themes through modern art.
Founded in 2017 by artist Chen Weiming, the park includes the sculpture '64', measuring 6.4 meters tall to commemorate the events of June 4, 1989.
The sculptures represent various social movements and historical events, including a life-size Tank Man replica and artworks dedicated to freedom of expression.
Located along Interstate 15 between Barstow and Las Vegas, the park offers free admission and features interpretive signs in English and Mandarin.
The park contains a sculpture called CCP Virus II, depicting Xi Jinping surrounded by coronavirus proteins, which replaced an earlier version that was destroyed.
