Bilkent Concert Hall, Concert hall in Çankaya, Turkey
Bilkent Concert Hall is a performance venue in Çankaya with multiple spaces designed for different types of shows and events. The building contains a large auditorium and a smaller theater space with varying seating capacities across multiple levels.
The building was designed by architects İlhan Kural and Erkut Şahinbaş and opened in 1994. Its inaugural event featured the Bilkent Symphony Orchestra performing for the first time in the new space.
The hall serves as a major venue for classical music performances in Ankara, hosting regular concerts throughout the year. Visitors experience a steady stream of orchestral and chamber music events featuring both local and visiting musicians.
The facility offers a cafeteria and parking for visitors, making the visit comfortable. It helps to check the current schedule before arrival since programming varies by season and event availability.
The interior walls feature movable acoustic panels that allow the space to be reconfigured based on specific needs. This flexibility makes it possible to use the spaces for both performances and recording sessions.
