Café Curado - Specialty Coffee
Café Curado is a small, thoughtfully designed coffee shop in the Roma Norte neighborhood that focuses on quality beverages and light snacks. The space features warm wooden tables, soft lighting, chess tables for guests, and a simple but intentional décor with carefully chosen art pieces.
The café opened in 2016 when two entrepreneurs from Baja California and Tamaulipas brought their northern heritage to Mexico City. Since its opening, it has become an established gathering place for the Roma Norte neighborhood community.
The café was founded by entrepreneurs from northern Mexico who bring their regional identity through the name and carefully selected products. The connection to local breweries and coffee producers from Veracruz is visible in the thoughtful offerings and reflects how this spot participates in Mexico City's coffee culture.
The shop opens early on weekdays and stays open until late evening, while opening slightly later on weekends. Visitors can sit indoors at tables or enjoy the patio area in warmer weather, and working with a laptop is welcome here.
The menu offers surprising options beyond typical coffee, including craft beers from local breweries and the Fina del Estribo, a sweet cold brew from Veracruz. A notable specialty is the affogato made with house-made ice cream, a rich combination of strong espresso and creamy sweetness.
