21c Museum Hotel Oklahoma City, Art museum and hotel in downtown Oklahoma City, United States
The 21c Museum Hotel Oklahoma City is a combination of hotel accommodations and art galleries in a large modern building with 135 guest rooms and exhibition spaces. The entire facility spans about 188,000 square feet and integrates artworks throughout all areas.
The building dates back to 1916 when it served as a Ford Model T assembly factory. It was completely transformed in 2016 into a museum-hotel combining contemporary lodging and art spaces.
The museum displays rotating exhibitions and artworks throughout the building in unexpected places. You will find these pieces in hallways, guest rooms, and dedicated gallery spaces as part of the experience.
The building sits centrally near the Bricktown entertainment district, making it easy to explore other attractions in the city. It offers on-site parking, a restaurant, and is walkable from many downtown locations.
The building incorporates glass blocks embedded in concrete floors that allow natural daylight to filter down through multiple levels. This design feature keeps the industrial feel while serving the needs of a contemporary space.
