The beach stretches for 14 kilometers along Panama's Pacific coastline with white sand bordered by rows of tall palm trees.
Originally a rural fishing settlement, Las Lajas Beach has transformed from an undeveloped coastal area into a recreation destination since the 1990s.
Local fishermen maintain their traditional practices along the shore, offering fresh catches to beachside restaurants and visitors throughout the day.
Visitors can access the beach via direct buses from David to San Felix, followed by a short taxi ride to their selected accommodation.
The beach features natural formations of islands, including Silva de Afuera, which creates optimal conditions for surfing and water activities.
