Indian Beach

Indian Beach stretches along the Pacific coastline with sandy areas and rocky formations, offering tide pools filled with marine creatures and starfish.

The beach received recognition from William Clark of the Lewis and Clark Expedition during their winter stay at Fort Clatsop in 1805.

Native Tillamook people utilized this coastal area for generations, establishing connections with the ocean through fishing and gathering activities.

Visitors can access the beach through Ecola State Park, where parking facilities and trail connections provide entry points to the shoreline.

The beach reveals hidden coves and geological formations during low tides, creating temporary passages between normally separated sections of the coastline.
