Gatra Beach

The beach features white sand stretches, limestone cliffs, and mangrove forests, with small coral formations breaking the waves near the shoreline.

The beach opened to public access in 2014 as part of the Bhakti Alam Sendang Biru conservation initiative to protect local marine ecosystems.

Local fishermen from the nearby Sendang Biru fish market maintain traditional fishing practices while sharing the waters with beach visitors.

Visitors need to walk 500 meters from the parking area or take a motorcycle taxi, with entrance fees at 10,000 rupiah per person.

The beach management enforces a daily limit of 100 visitors and requires documentation of potential waste items, with penalties for unauthorized disposal.
