Pantai Sipelot

Pantai Sipelot is a beach in East Java with a long stretch of sandy coastline backed by green hills and bordered by clear blue waters. The beach is wide enough for swimming and walking, with natural vegetation visible on the slopes behind the shoreline.

The hills behind the beach were designated as a protected forest area in the late 1900s as part of regional conservation efforts. This decision helped preserve the landscape and prevent development in the surrounding hills.

Local fishing communities work openly in the central section, loading and repairing boats as part of their daily routine. You can watch how coastal residents organize their lives around the ocean and its natural patterns.

The beach has free access with parking available near the entrance and basic facilities like restrooms and food stalls along the shore. It works well for swimming and relaxing during daylight hours, and the beach is less crowded in the early morning or late afternoon.

A small waterfall sits behind the eastern cliffs and can only be reached by boat across the bay. This hidden natural feature is often overlooked by visitors who focus on the main shoreline.
