Kuti Wildlife Park

Kuti Wildlife Park is a nature reserve in Salima with woodland, grassland, and wetland areas that form distinct habitats. A lake sits within the park's boundaries, providing water for the wildlife throughout the year.

The land once served as a cattle ranch before being transformed into a protected area. It is now managed by the Wildlife Action Group to safeguard local plant and animal life.

The reserve allocates thirty percent of its revenue to support local community projects, including tree planting and environmental rehabilitation initiatives.

The park is open daily from 07:30 to 16:30, with well-maintained paths suitable for walking, cycling, or driving tours. You can choose your preferred way to explore based on time and fitness level.

The park serves as a release site for animals rehabilitated at the Lilongwe Wildlife Centre. Zebras, giraffes, and sable antelopes have been set free here to rebuild their natural populations.
