The Punk Rock Museum

The Punk Rock Museum is a space in Downtown Las Vegas dedicated to the history of this music genre. It houses over 1,000 items spanning different decades, including instruments, clothing, photographs, and memorabilia from punk rock bands.

The museum opened in 2023 under the direction of Fat Mike Burkett from NOFX, working alongside a group of musicians and investors. This project brought together people committed to preserving the history and influence of punk rock.

Punk rock emerged as a rebellion against mainstream music, and the space celebrates how this movement attracted people who embraced its anti-establishment message. The collection shows how the genre shaped generations and continues to influence popular culture today.

The building is located in Downtown Las Vegas and is easily accessible on most days, though hours vary throughout the week. Plan enough time to explore the full range of exhibits and interactive areas at a comfortable pace.

Visitors can play actual instruments used by well-known bands in a dedicated room, using the bands' original amplification systems. This hands-on experience lets people engage with the music in a way that goes beyond viewing objects on display.
