Hollywood Wax Museum Pigeon Forge, Wax museum entertainment center in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
The Hollywood Wax Museum Pigeon Forge is an entertainment building in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, filled with wax figures of movie stars, musicians, and television personalities. The building spreads across two floors and also houses a mirror maze, a haunted walkthrough, an arcade, and a 4D theater.
The museum opened on May 11, 2012, after moving from its previous home in Gatlinburg, and it has since been recognized as the largest wax museum in the United States. The move to Pigeon Forge allowed for a much bigger space and a wider range of attractions.
The museum displays wax figures of people known in film, television, and music. Visitors can pose for photographs with these figures and experience a piece of American entertainment culture here.
The museum is open year-round and is set up to welcome visitors of all ages, including families with young children. Plan to spend a good chunk of time there, as the building has several distinct areas that each take a while to walk through.
The outside of the building features a giant ape climbing a six-story replica of the Empire State Building, visible from a distance on the main road. The same facade also shows a Hollywood-themed version of Mount Rushmore, making the exterior one of the most eye-catching structures in the area.
