Helios, Residential tower in downtown Seattle, US.
Helios is a 40-story residential tower in downtown Seattle located at the corner of 2nd Avenue and Pine Street. The building contains nearly 400 apartments and ground-level shops that serve both residents and passing pedestrians.
The tower was built between 2014 and 2017, replacing earlier development plans that never came to fruition for this downtown site. The project marked a significant shift in how this particular intersection would be used.
The building design incorporates reflective spandrel glass on north and east sides while featuring horizontal fritted patterns on south and west facades.
The location sits in the heart of downtown and is easy to reach on foot with plenty of nearby amenities and restaurants. Getting around the surrounding area is straightforward whether you arrive by transit, car, or on foot.
The building features a rooftop deck that opens to views of Elliott Bay and the distant mountains beyond Seattle's skyline. This outdoor space functions as a meeting point for those who call the building home.
