Wave Breaker: The Rescue Coaster, Steel roller coaster at SeaWorld San Antonio, United States
The roller coaster features jet ski-style seating arrangements and runs across multiple tracks positioned above the park's lake surface at speeds of 44 mph.
Wave Breaker opened in June 2017 after complex construction that required partial draining of the park's lake and installation of 300 concrete pillars.
The ride incorporates educational elements about marine animal rescue operations, reflecting SeaWorld's mission of wildlife conservation and rehabilitation.
Riders must be at least 48 inches tall to experience this attraction, which can accommodate 886 passengers per hour with its three 16-person trains.
An original 30-minute electric and orchestral score composed by Rick McKee accompanies riders through the simulated rescue mission experience.
