Canyon Diablo Bridge

The Canyon Diablo Bridge is a concrete arch structure that spans across a canyon with a cantilevered roadway system. The design uses a reinforced arch approach typical of bridges built during this era.

The structure was built in 1915 by the Topeka Bridge & Iron Company as part of an emerging road network. It arose during a time when the United States was creating new connections across difficult terrain.
