Sepang District

Sepang District spreads across southern Selangor and borders several adjacent districts while surrounding Putrajaya Federal Territory. The area combines modern transportation hubs with residential neighborhoods and farmland that shape its overall character.

The area was formed in 1975 from parts of neighboring districts and transformed from an agricultural region into an international transportation center. This change was driven by the construction of major infrastructure projects including airports and highways.
