Petronas Towers, Postmodern skyscraper in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The Petronas Towers reach a height of 451.9 meters with 88 floors, connected by a double-deck sky bridge at levels 41 and 42.

The construction of these towers, designed by César Pelli, started in March 1993 and reached completion in June 1996, with an official opening in August 1998.

The structural design incorporates Islamic geometric patterns in its cross-sections, reflecting Malaysian heritage through modern architectural elements.

Visitors can access the observation deck and sky bridge through timed entry tickets, with the main entrance located near the Suria KLCC shopping center.

The towers utilize a sophisticated tube-in-tube structural system and high-strength concrete instead of steel to reduce building sway at extreme heights.
