Supe Puerto District

Located along the Pacific Ocean, Supe Puerto District stretches across 519 square kilometers and includes several beaches such as La Isla and Faro Point.

The district gained independence on December 5, 1906, during the presidency of José Pardo y Barreda, separating from the original Supe district.

The archaeological remains found in the district date back between 7,000 and 3,000 years, connecting the area to the pre-ceramic urban settlement of Caral.

The district administration operates from Jr. Trujillo N° 163, where residents can process documents and obtain information about municipal services.

This district emerged as one of Peru's primary ports due to export activities linked to the Paramonga and San Nicolás haciendas.
