1 Dubai, High-rise building in Dubai, United Arab Emirates
1 Dubai is a high-rise complex consisting of three connected towers, each rising over 600 meters into the skyline. The towers contain office spaces, hotel rooms, residences, and shops linked by multiple sky bridges at different levels.
The project was designed by architects Adrian Smith and Gordon Gill as part of the Jumeirah Gardens development. It represents part of Dubai's ongoing transformation as a global commercial center.
The structure incorporates design elements that reflect modern Dubai's architectural achievements while maintaining references to traditional Middle Eastern spatial concepts.
The sky bridges connecting the towers at different heights make navigation between areas straightforward for visitors. The complex offers various entry points and accessible routes depending on which section you want to explore.
A central shaft of light rises through the atrium space between the towers, creating a glowing vertical element visible from across the city. This light feature becomes especially striking at night and creates a distinctive silhouette in the sky.
